Cross-country skiing around the Lake Achen
The Achensee region is one of the most well-known and important cross-country skiing destinations in Tyrol. With more than 200 kilometers of cross-country ski trails, it offers unlimited enjoyment around Tyrol’s largest lake.
Not only does our hotel provide excellent service throughout your stay, but outstanding service and top quality are also guaranteed on and around the trails. The Achensee region is regularly awarded the Tyrolean Cross-Country Ski Trail Quality Seal.
Whether you are a cross-country skiing specialist or a beginner, everyone will fall in love with this unique winter paradise. With trails for both classic skiing and skating, all athletes will find the perfect conditions. Of course, there is also a practice trail for those stepping onto narrow cross-country skis for the first time, allowing beginners to learn the correct technique in a relaxed way.
Once a week, we offer a free “Nordic Cruising taster course”, including equipment and a guide, giving you the opportunity to get to know this sport better.
Our in-house ski school, Busslehner, offers group courses and private lessons for both beginners and advanced skiers. At the Achentalerhof, you can access the cross-country ski trail network directly in front of the hotel.
