Golfing between the Rofan and the Karwendel Mountains

Golf is more than just a game – it is sport and inner balance in one. There are 2 very good golf courses in the Achensee Region. In the middle of Achenkirch there is the 9-hole course and 15 km away, in Pertisau is an 18-hole course.

For more golf information, Mrs. Susanne Neuhauser (managing director) and Mr. Josy Neuhauser (head waiter) will gladly help you! They are both keen members of the golf course in Achenkirch. They will also be pleased to accompany you on a round of golf – either in Achenkirch of in Pertisau. They will also arrange your Tee-time!

The Achenkirch golf course – Golf club Posthotel Alpengolf – lies at approx. 1.000 m above sea-level and stands at the top of a plateau in the middle of the village and borders on to the Karwendel Nature Park. The course in suitable for all golfers and has various Tee-off markers for the various holes – an Alpine course with spectacular views! The course has: a driving-range, pitching area, practice bunkers and putting and chipping greens. The course is approx. 3 km from the Hotel Achentalerhof.

Our tip: Guests from the Hotel Achentalerhof receive a 20% reduction off the normal green-fee.

The Golf and Land Club Achensee is in Pertisau and lies at approx. 950 m above sea-level. The 18 holes are uniquely bedded into the country-side and the course, at the entrance into the Karwendel valleys and the Nature Park. The course is the oldest course in Tyrol, originating from 1934.
