Just 100 meters from the hotel, a charming winter landscape awaits you on the Christlum from December to April, offering 25 km of skiing fun and perfectly groomed slopes. The ski area is situated between 950 and 1,800 meters above sea level and is one of the most snow-sure winter sports regions in Austria. Modern snow-making systems and a large storage reservoir ensure skiing enjoyment well into spring.

Hochalmlifte Christlum

From January 10 to January 31, 2026, and from February 28 to March 21, 2026, you will receive a discount of approx. 15% on ski passes from 3 days and up at the Hochalmlifte CHRISTLUM upon presentation of a hotel voucher!
The voucher can be redeemed at ticket office No. 3 at the valley station. You will receive the hotel voucher at the hotel reception.

Directly on the ground floor of the hotel, you will find the ski school office of Skischule Busslehner. On the north side of the building, you will also find the hotel’s own ski rental shop. Together with the ski school, we have created an individual winter sports program for you — participation is free of charge for our guests.

Snowkiting at Lake Achensee

Since 2010, there has been a licensed snowkiting school at Lake Achensee. In this exciting new trend sport, you glide over snowy fields or slopes on a snowboard — pulled by the wind, you move both uphill and downhill with a large kite.
