The enchanting idea of sitting in front of the Jochalm in the middle of winter, peacefully watching the hustle and bustle of the Christlum ski area, inspired us to purchase modern snowshoes more than 30 years ago. Since then, we have been completely fascinated by this wonderful winter sport.
Alongside the magical tranquillity of the winter forest, we are increasingly captivated by observing wildlife, its behaviour, and its tracks. The variety of ice and snow crystals, as well as the bizarre shapes of snow-covered tree stumps, shrubs, huts, and fences, make us want to explore the winter landscape more and more every year.

If the ski lesson (2 hours of instruction) cannot take place due to insufficient snow conditions (and therefore no lift operation), only the accommodation will be charged without the “Test the Best” package.
Please note that if the ski package cannot be offered due to a lack of snow, this does not constitute grounds for a free cancellation.
OUR TIP: For every additional night (from the 6th night onwards), you will receive a 10% discount on the half-board rate!

For many winter sports enthusiasts, cross-country skiing has become a great alternative to alpine skiing. Have you always wanted to give it a try, or would you like to refresh your existing skills? Then this package is just right for you! Starting with the basics, our experienced instructors will show you the techniques you need while ensuring you have plenty of fun along the way.
The Achensee 5-Star Cross-Country Ski Region offers one of Austria's largest and best-maintained trail networks, with 201 km of cross-country ski trails, many of them featuring four parallel tracks.
A minimum of 2 participants is required. If only one person takes part, the lesson duration will be reduced accordingly.
